Cake Prices
Cakes are designed to your specific requirements and then baked fresh to order. Prices are dependant on many factors including cake size, flavour, shape, accessories, hours required to produce models, flowers etc
Bespoke cakes are not cheap, as is the case with anything hand crafted. Please do be realistic in your budget. Bear in mind if you require a birthday cake that will take approx 8 hours to create or a wedding cake taking approx 3/7 days, then ingredients materials & an hourly rate will apply.
Below is a guide to give you an idea of basic starting prices, however it is impossible to give exact prices as each cake will be different and so prices will vary depending on the final style and design.
The prices below are for plain, simply iced cakes only and include, fillings, ganache and fondant icing of either single tier or stacked cake, decorated with ribbon matching your wedding/celebration theme.
These prices also include a design consultation by email or telephone for celebration cakes and in person if required for wedding cakes.
Wedding cakes will be delivered & set up at your reception venue free of charge within Lytham St Anne's, single tier wedding & celebration cakes do not include delivery and must be collected, however delivery can be arranged for a fee. Delivery further afield can be arranged & will be charged mileage.

Pillars, separators, sugar flowers, models and other design features will add to the cost.. A final quote will be given by email or post once we have discussed all your requirements.
Single Tier Cakes start from £75.00 (minimum order value)
Two Tier Cakes start from £150.00
Three Tier Cakes start from £300.00
4 Tier Cakes start from £375.00
5 Tier Cakes start from £450.00
Important note - these prices are base prices for smallest size plain iced vanilla sponge cakes
Individual gift cakes start from £8.50 each
Cup cakes start from
£2.50 each Frosted swirl
£3.00 each flat iced.
Additional decorations is priced per item i.e. flowers, numbers, letter etc
Novelty & carved cakes such as handbags, cars etc POA however minimum order value would be approx £125 with vehicle cakes starting at £150
Cutting cakes
If you require extra portions, cutting cakes can be supplied for the kitchen. These cakes are not decorated with the same detail as your wedding cake and are only available to order with 3 tier & above wedding cake.
A 25% non refundable deposit will be required when ordering your wedding cake, with the balance due no later than one month before the wedding.
Terms & Conditions
In the event of cancellation any work already completed is chargeable. If I cancel due to illness or circumstances beyond my control I will try my upmost to find an alternative cake decorator to fulfil the order. I have a large circle of trusted cake decorating friends so this should not cause a problem, if this is not possible a full refund will be given.
All cakes are as the sizes specified at time of ordering. An approximate portion guide can be given upon request. Please ensure you order sufficient cake for your requirements. Once the design is finalised this cannot be altered without incurring extra costs.
All cakes are bespoke & made by hand so they are subject to variation from any original design or photograph you may show us, even if it is one of our designs. The finished cake will be in keeping with the design discussed & agreed but exact replicas are not possible to guarantee and may be subject to copyright.
Allergy Information
Please note all cakes contain wheat flour gluten, eggs & milk lactose. Sponge cakes do not contain nuts unless specified i.e. espresso & walnut, however all cakes are prepared in a premises where nuts are used & stored. Every care is taken to prevent cross contamination however this is not a guarantee.
Some cakes may contain sulphur dioxide, gelatine & alcohol based flavourings.
Fruit wedding cakes are covered with a layer of marzipan before being iced.
Sponge cakes are covered with ganache before being iced, this may be white, milk or dark chocolate and will be dependent on the flavour of the cake. If there are any issues with these covering please inform us so we can discuss suitable alternatives.
We can provide dairy free as well as gluten free sponge & light fruit cakes. Clean eating cakes are also an option. These are suitable for top tiers only or single tier celebration cakes. Please note while we can provide cakes without wheat gluten, nuts etc we do not provide or guarantee cakes are suitable for allergy sufferers.
Please note decorated cakes may contain one or more of the following colours:
E102 Tartrazine, E104 Quinoline yellow, E110 Sunset yellow, E122 Carmosine, E124 Ponceau, E129 Allura red. Colours may have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children.
Cake Class Cancellation Policy – Important please read!
A place will not be secured without a signed and returned booking form agreeing to the terms & conditions. Please read carefully before paying your deposit.
Cake class deposits are non refundable and non transferable, they are a date reservation. By booking a place with a deposit I am holding that space in good faith that you will attend the course and I may have turned potential bookings away in doing so. With this in mind cancellations up to one month before start date will incur loss of deposit only. If you cancel within a month of the start date the full cost of the course must be paid unless we are able to fill your place. An invoice will be issued. Classes are kept small, 4/5 people max and so if someone doesn’t show up to class as a small business this has a huge effect on my income.
A signed booking form must be completed and returned to state you agree to these terms and conditions.
If you have not already paid the full amount at this time we will issue you with an invoice, allowing you 14 days to settle your account.
We reserve the right to alter dates & times if necessary
If we have to cancel the date for any reason we will do our best to offer a suitable alternative, if this proves difficult you will receive a full refund of all monies paid & first refusal on the next available course.
